1. Accepting these terms
By using Marii Tickets (the ticketing site at tickets.marii.app) or buying a ticket through it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
2. Who we are, who organisers are
Marii Tickets is operated by Marii ("we", "us"). When you buy a ticket, you are entering into two relationships:
- With the event organiser for the event itself — admission, the experience, the line-up, refunds, cancellations, age restrictions and venue rules. The organiser is identified on every event page.
- With Marii as the ticketing platform that processes your purchase, delivers your QR ticket, and validates it at the gate on the organiser's behalf.
We are not the event organiser unless explicitly stated. We do not decide who can attend, what is performed, or whether an event goes ahead.
3. Buying tickets
When you check out you confirm that the details you give us — name, email, phone — are accurate. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay; any service fee is set by the organiser and is disclosed before you confirm. All sales are in the currency shown on the event page.
Your tickets are delivered to the email you enter at checkout. That same email address is what authorises you to edit holder names on your tickets later, so use one you can access.
4. Your ticket
Each ticket carries a unique QR code that grants one entry. You may:
- Display the QR on your phone or as a screenshot at the gate.
- Save the QR to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, where supported.
- Forward a ticket's link to whoever will attend, and edit the holder's name before they arrive.
Names can be edited up to the moment a ticket is scanned. After that, the name is permanent. Each QR can only be scanned once. Counterfeit, duplicated or otherwise tampered tickets will be refused at the gate.
5. Refunds, cancellations, postponements
Refund eligibility is set by the event organiser and shown on the event page. If you believe you are eligible for a refund, contact the organiser first; if you need help reaching them, email support@marii.app with your order number.
If an event is cancelled or postponed, the organiser will contact ticket holders by email. Refunds for cancelled events are handled according to the organiser's published policy.
Service fees may be non-refundable where the law allows.
6. Conduct at the venue
You agree to follow the venue's rules and the organiser's instructions. The organiser or venue may refuse entry, or remove you, for safety, behaviour or for any reason permitted by law. We are not responsible for decisions taken at the venue.
7. Liability
We provide the ticketing platform "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marii is not liable for any cancellation, postponement, change in line-up, failure of the venue or any loss arising from the event itself, save where the law makes us liable regardless. Our maximum liability to you for any claim relating to a purchase will not exceed the face value of the affected tickets and the service fees you paid for them.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it cannot be excluded by Zimbabwean law, including in cases of death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
8. Resale and transfer
Tickets are intended for personal use. You may transfer a ticket to a guest by updating the holder name and sharing the ticket link. Commercial resale at a mark-up may be prohibited by the organiser or by law; check the event page.
9. If you organise events
Separate terms apply to organisers who sell tickets through Marii. Those terms govern payouts, your responsibilities to attendees, the information you publish on event pages, and the operation of the gate-scanning app. See your Marii dashboard for the current organiser agreement.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the platform changes or when the law requires it. The current version is always available on this page. Material changes will be communicated by email to active organisers and may be announced on the site.
